Working in a retail store I get to see and meet all kinds of people. I work for a food vendor in Supermarkets across the area.
The other day while working in Wal-Mart, I came a.cross this couple shopping. I noticed he was using an expensive organizer book with his list on it. Then I noticed the book looked rather new.
My first thought was this guy had attention Deficit Disorder. I know that I have lists everywhere. I use composition books so pages can't get lost like in a traditional pad of paper. My second thought was he just started his new book and was proudly showing it off. He probably had other books and lists before. Maybe a pile of half filled ones like I do.
Let me stop here, before I make this an ADD /ADHD moment. Look for a future post on using lists and books to remember things.
Later on he was shopping in the aisle I was working in. I realized I new him. We had worked together in retail of course. I remember how he had a motor mouth. You couldn't start a conversation and expect to walk away quickly. I have this thing. We all talk, but lets work while were talking. And not stop and get distracted.
Then it hit me. I was right he does have ADHD. Classic can't stand still, always talking.
I guess it does take one to know one!
